GIANTS OF THE PYRENEES

OUR MOST CHALLENGING GUIDED ROAD CYCLING TOUR

13-18 June 2026 (4 riding days)
1-8 August 2026 (6 riding days)
And ask us about custom dates

An epic week, Giants is all about big days with multiple climbs for riders seeking a real challenge. A typical day is 120km with 2500m of climbing, and we cover all of the famous cols: Tourmalet, Aspin, Hautacam, Soulor, Aubisque, Luz Ardiden, Lac de Cap-de-Long (as seen in Cyclist magazine, click here to view the feature) and more. You’ll be glad of our support car to keep you fuelled up. Each evening you will be buzzing with the achievement, marvelling at the scenery you witnessed, and ready for our hearty food.

While this is a mighty week of riding, we aim to make it accessible and you don’t need to be super-fit to enjoy it. We keep a sensible pace, take regular breaks, and  everyone can ride their own tempo on the climbs. If you’re still unsure whether or not Giants is for you, get in touch and we’ll be glad to talk it over with you.

€2400 (7 nights) / €1710 (5 nights)

This is a typical set of routes. It is not set in stone and nor does it always run in this order. We adjust the order to suit the weather and adjust the routes to suit each group. Most of the routes are also adjustable on the fly, so we can adapt to suit how everyone is feeling, even splitting the group at times. We nearly always reduce a couple of days on every Giants tour - there is no expectation or pressure to ride every last metre of what's above.

We simply want everyone to have an incredible experience!

WHO IS THIS TRIP FOR?

This trip is designed for experienced road cyclists who want a challenging week of riding famous mountains with the support of an expert guide and a follow car. A good level of fitness is advised. Riders should be confident to do two climbs per day.

What sets this trip apart is the exceptional set of routes and pro-level support. On Giants of the Pyrenees, every day is packed with stunning roads, incredible views and truly memorable riding - no long transfers to get to the good stuff. With a highly experienced guide and a fully-equipped support car, riders don't have to think about navigation or finding the next water point, only enjoying the ride.

Before your stay, we discuss your goals and fitness, then design routes tailored to the group with options to suit each individual. During your trip, meals and ride snacks are adapted to your dietary needs and training load, and expert advice is available on pacing, nutrition, recovery, equipment choices, descending technique, and current road conditions.

Our Giants of the Pyrenees guests value the opportunity to challenge themselves on harder routes with more climbing. They range widely in age and experience – from riders in their 20s to their 70s, from those quite new to road cycling to lifelong riders.

From our perfectly located base near Argelès-Gazost in the Pyrenees, riders can take on iconic Tour de France climbs such as the Col du Tourmalet, Col d’Aubisque, Col du Soulor, Hautacam, and Luz Ardiden.
